The product marketing manager owns defining the product for market understanding.
– The product marketing manager will regularly collaborate with product managers and sales channels. He or she is responsible for articulating all the outbound tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of those features and translate them into customer-facing messaging.
– He or she is tasked with creating marketing collateral including the corporate website, arming sales with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful and as well as outlining the marketing programs required for demand generation.
– The ideal candidate for this position should have charted vision for one of more software products and led marketing execution. We are looking for individuals who can combine creative out-of-the-box thinking with execution and collaborative skills to create innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :
– Collaborate with product management, sales and marketing to develop appropriate product positioning, competitive differentiation and messaging.
– Develop marketing collaterals, including brochures, presentations, websites etc.
– Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
– Connect and engage with target audiences through social networks, email marketing etc.
– Manage the internal and external communications of new products and releases of existing products.
– Act as the public thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
– Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.

Requirements :
– 6-10 years of software product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in a market-facing role
– Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp.
– Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.
– Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google Analytics.
– Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
– Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is – or isn- t- working
– Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
– Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!

– Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
